The mission of Bridges High School is to engage students in their own education and to co-create pathways to their future.
At Bridges High School we value the individual journey for each student.
Bridges High School offers classes in core academic areas, with at least 20 courses per year. Class offerings are increased with support from three comprehensive high schools in the district, each offering a number of electives that are open to Bridges High School students. School year includes six 6-week blocks (hexters); each day includes five instructional blocks.
Location and Community
Located in Carbondale, CO, a community of about 4500 located in northwest Colorado, near the confluence of the Crystal River and the Roaring Fork River and along state highways 82 and 133. Carbondale is 12 miles southeast of Glenwood Springs and 36 miles northwest of Aspen. Students attend from many surrounding communities including Rifle, New Castle, Glenwood Springs, Carbondale, Basalt, Snowmass, and Aspen.
