We started our bike tech program in the fall of 2021. It has grown into Las Ranas, a student run, school based business. Students learn how to fix and maintain bicycles, and community members to drop off their bikes for maintenance and basic repairs. Our community partner for this program is Carbondale Bike Project.
We began hosting a tiny home build project at Bridges High School in the fall of 2023. Students from all RFSD schools have the opportunity to participate and focus on tool use, safety standards, and basic construction skills. When finished, the tiny home will be auctioned off to the highest bidder. Youth Entity is our community partner for this program.
