In the fall of 2021, we launched the Bridges Bike Tech Program where students learn how to build, maintain, and repair bicycles. Students begin with the basics in the fall, learning about bike parts, assembly, and tool use. And each student is assigned their own workbench and station for the duration of the course. Some students have even built their own bikes at the end of the year. Our local, community partner is Carbondale Bike Tech.
