Mission & Vision

Bridges High School provides a small school environment with approximately 100 students. We focus on building positive relationships with our community members. Our mission is to engage students in their own education and create pathways to a successful future. We value the individual journey and students are encouraged to take responsibility for their own learning, growth, health, and development.

Curriculum

Our curriculum is designed with:

  • state and district standards
  • thematic topics of study in core subject areas
  • individualized instructional support as needed
  • 6 week courses and 6 week grading periods
  • weekly academic advising
  • guided Senior Capstone Projects
  • opportunities to earn a diploma through our ACE Pathway Program
  • opportunities for seniors to take additional classes at CMC or participate in Work Based Learning (WBL)
Location and Community

Bridges High School is located in beautiful Carbondale, CO, a small town near the confluence of the Crystal and Roaring Fork Rivers in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. We are part of Roaring Fork Schools (district RE-1) and our students comes from surrounding communities including Rifle, New Castle, Glenwood Springs, Carbondale, Basalt, Snowmass Village, and Aspen.
